Rebels and Imperials est un mini set de personnages ré-édités par en juin 2007
Ce mini set est en fait composé de 24 figurines différentes, toutes des ré-éditions des anciens sets parus. Les boosters contiennent chacun 2 figurines et son prix d'ailleur était assez bas (aux environs de 4.50€). A l'intérieur on pouvait trouver une figurine commune et soit une Unco, soit une R ou une VR. La case contenait toujours 12 boosters et on pouvait avoir dedans 12 CO, 6 Unco, 4 R et 2 VR (quoi que j'ai eut une case avec 3 VR! ). Ce set a été plus ou moin bien accueilli, tout d'abord par le fait que 3 boosters R&I (6 figurines) correspondait au prix d'un booster normal (7 figurines) et que si on avait pas de chance on pouvait se retrouver avec 3 CO et 3 Unco. A l'inverse on pouvait récupérer de bonnes figs pour pas trop cher, perso les 3 premiers boosters que j'ai achetés contenaient 1 Vr et 2 R avec les 3 Co. Et croyez moi, récupérer un Boba Fett de RS pour 4.50 € ce n'est que du bonheur.
En plus de ce set est sorti en même temps un starter du même nom qui contenait 6 figurines, une map double face, un dé, un livret de règle à jour et les cartes de statistiques correspondantes. Dans les figurines fournies ont pouvait retrouver Obi-Wan Kenobi de RS et Darth Vader de ROTS.

Au final, ce set et le starter sont basés sur les figurines de la première trilogie (Episodes IV, V, VI) on y retrouve donc Luke, Vador, l'Empereur, Tarkin, Han, Chewie, etc ce qui permet d'avoir le nécessaire pour jouer en respectant les factions et de se faire une petite équipe assez compétitive. Bref un ensemble qui permet de bien débuter et pour pas trop cher afin de se faire une idée du jeu.
